A vestibular physiotherapist is someone who specialises in vestibular rehabilitation therapy which is an effective exercise-based program aimed to improve the symptoms of dizziness, vertigo and unsteadiness.
Vestibular rehabilitation has been shown to be effective in reducing movement provoked symptoms, the risk of falls and fatigue while improving general balance, confidence, endurance and independence.
